A RESOLUTION CONCERNING NEGATIVE DECLARATION OF AN
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT FOR THE RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL P.U.D.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lakeville has had an
Environmental Assessment Worksheet prepared for the Renaissance Festival
P.U.D, and. the conclu~5ion is for a negative declaration for an Environ-
mental Impact Statement, and
WHEREAS, the City Council, after extensive study of documents and
information from planners, consultants, city staff and advisory committees
addressing questions of storm runoff., soils, wildlife, trees, noise pollu-
tion, erosion, wetlands, drainage, screening, nutrient controls, traffic
and affects on Lake Marion, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has had numerous public. meetings to
consider input from the public,' and
WHEREAS, the City Council. has carefully reviewed and considered
all information and materials,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Lakeville formally approves the .findings of the City Environmental Assessment
Worksheet on the Renaissance Festival P.U.b, and endorses a negative declara-
tion for an Environmental Impact Statement. This resolution and copies of
the E.A.W. to be forwarded to outside agencies and governmental units as
required.
