HomeMy WebLinkAbout80-021 r CITY OF LAKEVILLE RESOLUTION Date February 4, 1980 Resolution No. 80-21 Motion by Lekson Seconded by Zaun RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING CITY POLICY ON PAYMENT OF HOSPITAL- MEDICAL INSURANCE FOR SALARIED AND HOURLY EMPLOYEES, ELIMINATING PERSONAL LEAVE, AND SETTING A VACATION SCHEDULE WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City to provide a Hospital-Medical insurance benefit as follows. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakeville, Minnesota: 1. EMPLOYEE COVERAGE. The City will pay the full cost of the employee's monthly insurance cost for full-time employees, and will pay a proportionate share of the cost for permanent part-time employees who work sixteen (16) or more hours each week. 2. DEPENDENT COVERAGE. The City will pay fifty percent (50%) of the dependent cost above $41.00 per month, and the employee shall pay fifty percent (50%) of dependent coverage, to be deducted from the employee's payroll check, beginning with the February 22, 1980 payroll for permanent full-time hourly employees. 3. Salaried employees' Medical-Hospital insurance .premiums shall be paid 100 percent by the City during 1980 for the employee and dependents. 4. Administrative personal leave as previously established by the City Council by Resolution No. 77-17 is abolished effective February 4, 1980. 5. The vacation schedule for employees not covered by a contract or employment agreement shall be as follows effective January 1, 1980. After 1 year of employment, 10 days, 80 hours. After 2 years of employment, 10 days, 80 hours. After 3 years of employment, 11 days, 88 hours. After 4 years of employment, 12 days, 96 hours. After 5 years of employment, 13 days, 104 hours. After 6 years of employment, 14 days, 112 hours. After 7 years of employment, 15 days, 120 hours. After 8 years of employment, 15 days, 120 hours. After 9 years of employment, 15 days, 120 hours. After 10 years of employment, 15 days, 120 hours. After 11 years of employment, 16 days, 128 hours. After 12 years of employment, 17 days, 136 hours. After 13 years of employment, 18 days, 144 hours. After 14 years of employment, 19 days, 152 hours.
