Item 2 Taft made a motion seconded by Jensen that the rn.inutes of March 3, 1969 meeting stand as read. A11 4 for. ~Piotion carried... Item ,3 Mako presented an agreement between Apx~le Valley and Lek eville for exchanging personnel in the ~~later and Sewer department in case of emergencies. It was decided to get a letter from the Kohlenhofer Insurance Agency in regards to insurance c©verage of exchange embloyees before this would be acted on. Item 4 The gavel nit operated by .Gene Ru.ddel was discuss~:d as gravel v~Fas being hauled out by a contracter and it was exx~ected that the road, .would `be damaged by the traffic. It v~Tas decided that there should be a .bond from the pit owner or contractor to cover the damage. Item 5 Mr. Mako advised that the school board was agreeable. to giving some formica to the Village for the ne~v council table if the students could have the. oraportunity of seeing the formica applied to the top of the table. Item 6 flaps for the Vi1lac~e were again discussed and it was decided to try to het some from the Gounty Engineer. .Item 7 Floyd Bentson appeared in regard to requesting building permits for Glenn Addition. The poor road drainage was disco Vie, ~`€~d so the fact that all the roads had. not been the Vila .ge as yet. Taft made a motion seconded by Sullivan to hatre Mr. Rosene examine the lots in ~{uestion and make a recommendation on the drainage . problem. All 4 for. .Motion serried. Item S Taft .made a motion seconded by Jensen to instruct the clerk to write to Twin City Federal Savings & Loan Accociation that to the councils knowledge as of IViarch.3, 1969,.. there are no pending assessments against property described as: Lot 25, Block 6, Donnayfs College .Park. A11 4 for, motion carried. Item 9 Mr. Cross' and ~d~1t Kingts J. P. reports were reviewed by the Gouncil. Ttem 10 Jensen made a motion seconded by Taft that public hearings on internal remodeling. of commercial building not be recauired. All 4 for. Motion carried. Item 11 It was decided that Mr. Rosene be requested to attend the March 1?, 1969 meeting. Item 12 The new zoning ordinance waq reviewed by the council with Jerry Clay of the P1 a~nn~ingy,Commission and Attorney Pat Farrell. A feva'Q c~.ange~~ e e made at that time.
