Item 1 The meeting was-called to order by'Mayor Aronson with Taft
Jensen, Mako and Sullivan.
Item 2 Jensen made a motion seconded by Mako to accept the minutes
of the June. 2, 1969 meeting as read.. Motion carried.
Item 3 The plans. and specifications of .the Valley Park pump and
pumphouse were reviewed by the council before the meeting.
Jensen made a motion that the plans and specifications for
the Valley Park pump and pumphouse be approved with the additions
and modifications as presented by the engineer. Water was to
be run to the otherside of the. creek and a hydrant pint in.
Other additions to this line could be made later. Taft seconded
themotion. All 4 for, motion carried..
Item 4 Frank Farrell requested stop signs on Holland Ave, and Hughes Ave.
at 206th St.
Taft moved that stop signs be installed on Holland Ave at 206th
St. and Hughes Ave. at 206th St. Sullivan seconded the motion...
A11 4 for, motion carried.
Item 5 Sullivan moved to instruct the clerk to purchase 6 chairs from
Fireside Office Supply at $69. per chaff°~. Taft seconded the motion,
All 4 for, motion carried.
Item 6 Taft made a motion seconded by Sullivan to set 8:00 P.M. July 7, i969
for the acceptance of bids for the Valley park pump house and pump.
All 4..for, motion carried.
Item 7 Mr. Ackerman reported that the drainage on the Forest Hi11s
Assessment project would be on`Lot 27 which belongs to Gus
Lyden. The total ditch would be 100 ft. more than had been
previously planned.
Item 8 Mr. Taft reported that Frank Kadlec from Jordan had quoted a price
of $250. to excavate the beach at Orchard Lake. Taft made a motion
seconded by Sullivan to hire Frank Kadlec to excavate the beach
at Orchard Lake for $250. All in favor, motion carried.
Item 9 It was reported. that the telephone Co. would donate a telephone
at Orchard Lake during swimming classes if the maintenance menwill
build a water proof boZ with 1®ck for it.
Item 10 Mr. Farrell, Village Attorney, reported that.the village could take
two steps to deal with the. problem of Mr. Weisner.
1. The village .could .prosecute. the violiaton of the subdivision
ordinance which is a msde~aaner.
2. Start a lawsuitto compel him to plat and make the necessary
improvements `as required by ordinance.
Mako made a motion seconded by Taft to first of all take the. necessary ~~~T~~'
to enforce the ordinance and have Mr. Weisner come before the.
Justice of the Peace. Taft, Mako and Jensen for. Sullivan opposed.
Motion carriedc
Item 1'1 Jensen made a motion to instruct the clerk to forward to the
Register of Deeds of Dakota County a copy of the subdivision
ordinance directing particular attention to description of
subdivision and .requiring further deeds not. complying to that
portion of the subdivision ordinance not be recorded by-state law.
Taft seconded the motion. Taft,. Sullivan, Jensen and Mako, for,
motion carried.

Item i2 Jensen made a motion seconded by Sullivan to ask Mr. Farrell
the village attorney, to take whatever action necessary to
compell Mr. Weisner to plat this property and live up to
the subdivision ordinance. All 4 for, motion carried.
Item 13 Taft moved to grant an excavating permit to the Northern
Natural Gas Co.. Jensen seconded the motion. Aii 4 for,
motion carried.
.Item 14 Taft moved to grant .set-up licenses to John Talley and
the Orchard Lake Tavern. Jensen seconded the motion.
All 4 for, motion carried.
Item 15 Jensen made a motion seconded by Mako that to the council's
knowledge as of June 9, 1969 there were no pending assessments
against property described as:
So. 330' of the West 330'
of S. E. 4 of N. E. 4 of Sec. 18, Twp 114-R-20.
and that the clerk could be instructed to inform Jay O'Connor
of the same.

Item 16 Sullivan made a motion. seconded by Jensen to instruct the clerk
to write to Jay O'Connor that to the council's knowledge as of
June 9, 1969, there are no pending assessments .against .property
described as:
Lot 23, Block 2, Clay's Acres..
Ail 4 for, motion carried.
Item 17 Mako made a motion seconded by Taft to instruct the clerk
to write to Jay O'Connor that to the council's knowledge as of
June 9, 1969, there are no pending assessments against property
described as:
Lot 7, Block 3, Clay's Acres
4 All 4 for, motion carried.
Item 1$ A motion to adjourn was made by Taft and seconded by Mako,
meeting was adjourned.
