Item 2 The Lakeville Car Wash plans were shown to the council. .:Item 3 Clint Cross' Justice of the Peace report was reviewed by the council. Item 4 Taft made a motion seconded by Sullivan to approve an on sale beer license for the Jaycees far the Panoprog of Progress. All 4 motion carried.. .Item 5 Taft made a motion seconded by Sullivan to approve at~set-up l,rtcense for Seagirt Resort. All 4 for, motion carried, Item 6 Mako made a motion seconded by Jensen to grant the Dakota Restaurant a set-up license with the stipulation that if any form of lottery not sanctioned by Minnesota law is conducted, the license will be revoked.. All 4 for, motion carried. .Item 7 Letters from the State of Minn. re: Speed Zoning on the service drive. past Connolleys and snow. plowing were read to the council. Item 8 Sullivan made a motion seconded by Mako that to the council's. knowledge as of July 14, 1969 there are no pending assessments against property described as: lot 5, Block 6, in Oak Shores 2nd Addn. All 4 for, motion carried. Item 9 Mako made a motion seconded by Jensen that to the council's knowledge as of July 14, 1969 there are no pending assessments against property described as: Lot 8, Block 2, Forest Hills, All 4 for, motion carried. Item 10 Sullivan made a motion seconded by Taft that to the council's knowledge as of Juiy 14,-1969 there are no pending assessments against property described. as 8/4 Vern Donnays College Park 7469 Upper 167th Court W. Rosemount, Dakota Gounty. A]1 4 for, motion carried. Item 11 A letter re: accident claim at 215th and Cedar was sent to the kohlnhofer Agency. Item i2 Jensen made a motion seconded by Mako to follow the recommendation of the Village attorney, Pat 6arre1l, approving the transfer of land from School Dist, #196 to x]94. Jensen, Mako, Sullivan and Taft for, motion carried. Item 13 Ed Mako discussed the possibility of dutch°~e1m disease and would like to have an ordinance sa the vii]age could handle this problem. Pat .Farrell .was instructed to bring an ordinance to a future meeting. Item 14 Estimates for lumber fior an office for the building inspector were presented to the council. Jensen made a motion seconded by Taft to have an office built. All 4 for, motion carried. Item 15 Mr. Ackerman reported that the report for the water tests at Forest Hills Addn. would be ready on Mon. the 21st of July, 1969. ~ ~ • PAGE TWO, COUNCIL MEETING JULY 14, 1969 Item 16 Mayor Aronson reported that the Dodge dealer had a police car but Pat Farrell advised that a letter would have to be written by the chief of police that this was an emergency before he would .recommend the council to buy the car. Item 17 A motion by Taft seconded by Sullivan that the minutes of the .July 7, 1969 meeting stand as read. All 4 for, motion carried. Item 18 Taft made a motion seconded by Sullivan that the minutes of the Board of Equalization meeting July 10 ,1969 ,stand as-read. All for, motion carried. item 19 Mako made a motion seconded by Jensen to grant the new car wash a building permit. All 4 for, motion carried. Item 20 The Punning Commission minutes were read. A. M. Banks and J. Dennehey appeared fora rezoning. Mr. Kalina explained how the 27 acres were going to be used.. Jensen. made a motion that the land for the apartments be rezoned commercial-industrial. Mako seconded the motion. All 4 for, motion carried. Item 21 Jensen made a motion seconded by Mako that the North 620 feet and the South 140 feet of the East 375 feet of the North 760 feet of the SW quarter of the NE quarter (SW4 of NEB) of Section 29, T. 114, R. 20, excepting therefrom the North 352 feet of the East 248.5 feet thereof, and further excepting therefrom the South 125 feet of the East 150 feet of the North 477 feet thereof with the following conditions of planning Commission recommendation: a. Iberia Ave. 8efng Fought to standard. b. Land donation for cul du sac on old Ruby St. or what is now Howland Ave. c. Dedication of park land with the following description: commencing at a point same as the center line of Ruby Ave. north end of cul du sac, north' to a point which is 30 ft south of the waterway followin that line to Highway 50 (60 foot waterway and everything east of that line with the exception of that which is being bought by Mrs. Kraft./ Legal description will be provided. by the builder. Also 30 ft of Iberia will be dedicated to the Village. d, A hard shell plat of residential lots an old Fairfie d or what is now Hughes Ave. to be submitted 90 days after being informed of where the sewer lines will be. e. Screening fence to be put up between apartment building and all adjoining residential areas. f. all land conditions are to be met in 60 days and ail must have approval of Village Engineer. Item 22 Sullivan made a motion seconded by Taft to grant a building permit for the Southern most unit or apartment on the plat. All 4 for, motion carried. Item 23 Taft-made a motion seconded by Sullivan to grant a set-up license to New Antlers Park. All 4 for, motion carried. Item 24 Mr. Farrell explained to the council why the state supreme court had ruled against the Lakeville, Lakeville Township merger. A petition for a rehearing would have to be filed within 10 days. Item 25 A motion to adjourn was made by Sullivan seconded by Taft and approved by all 4 members of the council. Meeting adjourned.
