` Item 1 The meeting was called to order by Mayor Aronson with Taft,
Sullivan, Jensen and Mako present..

Item 2 The Jaycees presented. the council with a-check for $100 forepart ~
payment of the waste recepticles on Holyoke.
Item 3 The minutes of the July 21 meeting were read. Jensen made a motion
seconded by Taft to approve the minutes as-read. All 4 for, motion
carried.
Item 4 Sharon Krutzfeldt appeared before the council to request that some
safety precautions be taken at the bridge on 168th and Gannon. Sullivan
aras going to review the situation.
Item 5 1'he minutes of the special Water & 5evrer Commission meeting of July
30, 1969, were read.Sullivan made a motion seconded by Taft to accept
the recommendations of the water & sewer committee. as presented
and the clerk was instructed to v,~rite to the Eureka Town Board
requesting their presence at a special meeting with the Lakeville
Council on August 19, 1969, at S:OOpP.M. All for, motion carried.
Item 6 Ed Winkler appeared before the council again in regard to starting
a new restaurant with a liquor license to serve liquor. Pat Farrell
.informed the council that the liquor store bonds included a covenant
that no liquor licenses could be sold until the store was paid for.
It was decided to have Mr. FarreiT to check and see if the bond holders
would allow-the. council to sell licenses.
Item 7 Taft made a resolution seconded by Jensen to allow the clerk to
pay the withholding and PERA before the 15th of each month to avoid
paying a penalty. All 4 for, motion carried.
Item $ Clint Cross' Justice of the Peace report was reviewed by the council.
Taft made a motion seconded by Sullivan to instruct the clerk
to send-the report back to Mr. Cross so that he could make it more
legible. All 4 for, motion carried.
Item 9 A budget meeting was set..for August 12, 1969.
Item 10 Jensen made a motion seconded by Mako to instruct the clerk to write
to Crest Real Estate, Inc. that to the council's knowledge as of
Aug. 4, 1969, there are no pending assessments against property
described as:
Lot #14, Block 23, Southerly 25 ft of lot #15,
B1. 23, Antlers Park Addition.
All 4 for, motion carried.
Item 11 .Jensen made a motion seconded by Sullivan to instruct the clerk to write
to Freeway Realty .that. to the councils's knowledge as of Aug.4, 1969,
there are n~ pending assessments against property described as:
That part of the West half of the Southeast Quarter (WZ of SE 4) of
Section 26, Township 114 North, Range 21 West, lying Northerly
of the C. M. St. P and P Railraod, except the East 639.8 feet thereof.
.Subject to the right of way for County Road #64 over and across
the Northerly portion thereof.
All 4 for, motion carried.
Item 12 Jensen made a motion seconded by Sullivan to instruct the clerk. to write

to Jay P. O'Connor that to the council's knowledge as of Aug. 4, 1969,
there are no pending assessments against property described as:
Lot 4, Block 2, Oak Shores 2nd Addition.
All 4 for, motion carried.
Item 13 The Planning Commission minutes of their July 24, 1969 meeting
were read.. Taft made a motion seconded by Sullivan to accept
them as read. All 4 for, motion carried.-
Item 14 the afternoon and evening of the 22nd of Aug, 1969, was set as
a special day for registration of voters.
-Item 15 The Planning Commissiontat their special meeting at 7:30 P.M. Aug. 4, 1969,
returned the recommendation to table the request of Clifford Stevens
for a rezoning until Aug. 18th, 1969.
The village engineer and county planner will be asked to review
this corner to see if this business is desirable in this spot and
investigate the sewarage problem. A motion by a trustee was rescinded
when Mr. Farrell informed the council that it could not act on this
rezoning until the 18th .of Aug.
Item 16 Mrs. Bosshart requested information on when the trailer at the Park 'n
Print shop was going to be moved.
Item 17 A motion by Sullivan seconded by Jensen to adjourn. A11 for,
meeting adjourned.
