HomeMy WebLinkAbout08-19-69 .w SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING AUGUST 19, 1969 Item 1 The meeting was called to order by Mayor aronson with Jensen. Sullivan, Taft and Mako present. Item 2 Jensen made a motion seconded by Sullivan that to the councils knowledge as of Aug. 19, 1969, there are no pending assessments against property described as Yost/Floor--7390 West 165th St. All 3 for, motion carried. Item 3 Sullivan madea motion seconded by Jensen thht to the council's knowledge as of .Aug. 19, 1969, there are no pending assessments against property described as: Lot 1, Block 3, Oak Shores 2nd Addn. All 3 for, motion carried. Item 4 Sullivan moved that to the council's knowledge as of Aug. 19, 1969, there are no pending assessments against property described as: No. 100.0' of the So. 679.5' of the West 135.0' of the E. 505.0' of the S. W. of NE 4 of Sec. 29-Twsp 11.4, Rge 20. Jensen seconded the motionwith all voting for, motion carried. Item 5 Taft made a motion seconded by Jensen. to invite George M. Hansen Co. to do the audit on the books again this year. All .for, motion carried. Item 6 A'motion was made by Taft ,seconded by Jensen to send the clerk to the Municipal Accounting School starting in Sept./ Ail for, motion carried. This to include mileage. Item 7 The Eureka Town Board met with the Lakeville Council to discuss the different problems Lakeville is having in regard to the businesses in Eureka Township hooking up to the Lakeville sewer. -and water system. Mr. Farrell explained the different charges that should be made and presented a contract that would be signed with the Eureka Town Board and the Lakeville Council so that charges could be made for hookups and water and sewer charges every month. Mr. Farrell was instructed to :prepare the. new contract and send the same to Eureka for signing. A contract for the special occasions in Airlake Industrial Park which extends into Eureka Township will also be drawn up for. approval. Item 8 Taft made a motion seconded by Mako to pay the waitresses at the Liquor Store an extra.`:25c per hour ($2.00}. Taft, Mako,: and Sullivan for. Jensen and Aronson opposed. Motion carried.
