Emmett t~Jagner appeared before the ,Council to request a letter be sent Mr. Stevens of the auto auction including a copy of the resolution passed bq,-the Village Council on Iles. 1, 1969, re . the rezoning of the Wagner farm. The clerk. was .instructed to do the same. 3. Mako made a motion seconded by Sullivan to accept th® minutes of the 1)ec. 1, 1969, meeting as read. All 4 for, motion carried. 4. Sullivan made a motion seconded by Taft to accept the minutes of the special 17ee. 3, 1969, meeting as read. All for, motion carried, Nich l~fahowald demonstrated. his new two way radio to the council. Sullivan moved to purchase the radio and to pay Mr. Sorenson the $400. Mako seconded the. motion. All 4 for, motion carried. 6, Mr. Ackerman presented his building report. '7. The Lakeville Laundro-mat requested a street light to be installed in front of the Laundromat on Howland Ave. Taft Made a motion seconded by Sullivan to install the light on Howland Ave.. across from the Laundro-mat, All 4 for, motion carried. A letter ie to be sent to NSP, 8. Taft made a motion seconded bq Sullivan to approve the gas .permit for ?pls., Gas Co, for Job S-304-1969. All 4 for, motion carried. 9. .Sullivan made a motion seconded by Mako to instruct the clerk to write to Dakota County Abstract Co. that to the council's knowledge as of I1ec. 8, 1969, there are no pending assessments against property described as; Lot 2, Block 4, Lakeville Hills, Dakota County, Minnesota Rt#3 Lakeville, Dann. All 4 for, motion carried. L0. Taft mace a motion seconded by Sullivan to instruct the clerk to write to Bermel-Smaby Realtors: that to the council's knowledge as of nee. 8, 1969, there are no pending. assessments against property described as: .Lot Block 2, I)onnay's Valley Park All for, motion.. carried. 11. Two bids for snow removal on the State Trunk Highway were received by the Village . 1. Hallett Construction--$13..50 per hr. with a Case Front End Loader. 2. Fred Fredrickson--$25,00 per hr. 'with a caterpillar 4 wheel drive loader." and a 3 Bard bucket. Motion bq Sullivan .seconded by Mako to award the bid to Hallett. Motion carried. 12 Taft made a motion seconded by Mako to approve .the off sale. beer licenses for Enggren's, Inc. and Tom Thumb Grocery.
