DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE LAKEVILLE
ZONING ORDINANCE CONCERNING THE TEMPORARY
USE OF MOTOR HOMES AS BUILDINGS
The Lakeville City Council ordains as follows:
Section 1. Section 9.2 of the Lakeville Zoning Ordinance is
amended by adding subparagraph (4) to read as follows:
(4). By special permit, subject to the requirements of Section 4
of this Ordinance, in all zoning districts self-contained
motor homes, as defined by Mn statute, may be used as
temporary living quarters for construction. Workers
working on the same site provided:
a. The construction site is at least five (5) acres in
size.
b. Construction project does not include the construction
of single family homes.
c. No more than five (5) self-contained motor homes are
used.
d. Motor homes do not remain on the property more than 120
days.
e. No more than four (4) occupants per unit.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be effective immediately
upon its passage and publication.
ADOPTED by the Lakeville City Council this 1st day of_
