HomeMy WebLinkAbout0250 ORDINANCE NO. 250 CITY OF LAKEVILLE DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA AN INTERIM ORDINANCE IMPOSING A MORATORIUM ON ISSUANCE OF PERMITS FOR BILLBOARDS The Lakeville City Council hereby ordains: Section 1. Intent: It is the intent of this ordinance to allow the City to complete its study concerning the regulation of billboards and in the interim to protect the planning process and the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the commu- nity. Section 2. Moratorium: No permit shall be issued for billboards. Section 3. Effective Date: This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage and publication and shall remain in effect until the date of the adoption of the ordinance contem- plated hereunder or October 1, 1984, whichever occurs first.
