CITY OF LAKEVILLE
DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA
AN INTERIM ORDINANCE IMPOSING A
MORATORIUM ON THE CONSTRUCTION OF METAL
BUILDINGS IN CERTAIN SITUATIONS
The Lakeville City Council hereby ordains:
Section 1. It is the intention of this ordinance to
allow the City to complete a study concerning the regulation of
metal buildings and in the interim to protect the planning process
and the health, safety and welfare of the community.
Section 2. No building permit shall be issued for a
building in the "ICD" or "B" zoning districts the exterior surface
of which, excluding window frames, doors and roof, is 10% or more
metal.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
passage and publication and shall remain in effect until July
1, 1984, unless sooner repealed.
Adopted by the City Council the 16th day of April, 1984.
