Lakeville ordains: Section 1. Title 7, Chapter 5, Section 7-5-3-1(D) is hereby amended to read as follows: D. The city connection charges shall be paid to the City before a building permit or sewer or water connection permit is issued unless other arrangements for the payment of the City unit and area charges are made and approved by the City. The City Council may approve the assessment of city connection charges on new or enlarged multiple residential, commercial or indus- trial buildings when the number of residential equivalent units is ten (10) or more. The council may assess the city cronnection charge on any dwelling or building when the instal- . Iation of the city utility system is made after the construction _of the dwelling or building. The rate of interest shall be set by the City Council. Section 2. This ordinance shall be effective following its passage and publication. ADOPTED this 21st day .of March , 1983. (7) Said newspaper is made available at single or subscription prices to any person, corporation, part- nership or other unincorporated association requesting the newspaper and making the ap- plicable payment. (8) Said newspaper has complied with all foregoing conditions for at least one year preceding the day or dates of publication mentioned below. (9) Said newspaper has fil- ed with the Secretary of State of Minnesota an affidavit in the form prescribed by the Secretary of State and signed by Mary Ziegenhagen and sworn to before a notary public stating that the newspaper is a legal newspaper.
