HomeMy WebLinkAbout0217 .I c I,~ , ORDINANCE N0. 217 CITY OF LAKEVILLE DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 2, CHAPTER 1 OF THE CITY CODE CONCERNING THE PLANNING COMMISSION. It is hereby ordained by the Lakeville City Council as follows: Section I. Title 2, Chapter 1, Section 2-1-2C of the City Code is amended to read as follows: Removal from office: Any member of the Planning Com- mission may be removed from office with or without cause by a 4-5 vote of the entire City Council. Any member of the Planning Commission who misses three (3) consecu- tive Planning Commission meetings or a total of one-third (1/3) of all Planning Commission meetings in a calendar year, calculated at the end of each calendar year, shall automatically be removed from office without City Council action and the City Administrator shall notify the member of his or her removal. Section 2. This Ordinance shall be effective upon its passage and publication, except that meetings missed by Plan- ning Commission members prior to the passage of this Ordinance shall not be considered for purposes of Section 1 of this Ordinance.
