DAKOTA CQUNTY, MINNESOTA
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 42, BEING THE
ZONIATG ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LAKEVILLE
The City Council of Lakeville ordains as follows:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 42 is hereby amended to
rezone the following described property from B-4, Commercial,
to R-3A, Multiple Family;
The North 400 feet of the South 745.1 feet
of the following described property:
.Commencing at the SE corner of the NW's, Section
29, Township '114, Range 20; thence North 176.0
feet to the point of beginning; thence North along
the North-South centerline of said Section 29
to the North line of the SE; of said NW;, said
.Section 29; thence West 247.5 feet along the
North line of said SE; of NWa, Section 29; thence
South to a point 176..0 feet North of the South
line of the NWQ of said Section 29; thence East
2`47.5 feet to said point of beginning. Except the
following described piece of land, commencing
at the NW corner of the SE; NW;, Section 29,
Township 114, Range 20; thence East 1045.7 feet
to the point of beginning; thence South 217.6 feet;
thence East 100.0 feet; thence Pdorth 217.6 feet;
thence West 100.0 feet to-said point of beginning.
Section 29, Township 114, Range 20, Dakota County,
Minnesota.
Section 2. The Zoning Map of the City of .Lakeville
referred to and described in said Ordinance No. 42 as Ghat
certain map entitled "Zoning District of Lakeville, Minnesota,
April 20, 1970" shall not be republished to show the aforesaid
rezoning, but the Clerk shall appropriately mark the zoning
map on file in the Clerk's office for the purpose of indicating
the rezoning hereinabove provided for in this Ordinance and all
of the notations, references and other information shown thereon
are hereby incorporated by reference and made a part of this
Ordinance.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its publication according to law.

The City Council of Lakeville ordains as
follows:

Lakeville referred to and described in said
Ordinance No. 42 as that certain map entitl-
ed "Zoning District of Lakeville, Minnesota,
April 20, 1978" shall not be republished to
show the aforesaid rezoning, but the Clerk
shall appropriately mark the zoning map on
file in the Clerk's office for the purpose of in-
dicating the rezoning hereinabove provided
for in this Ordinance and all of the notations,

JOSEPH R. CLAY and DANIEL H. CLAY, being duly sworn, on oath say they are and
during all the times herein stated have been the publishers and printers of the news-
paper known as Dakota County Tribune and have full knowledge of the facts herein
stated as follows: Said newspaper is printed in the English language in newspaper
format and in column and sheet form equivalent in printed space to at least 900 square
inches. Said newspaper is a weekly and is distributed at least once each week. Said
newspaper has 50 per cent of its news columns devoted to news of local interest to the
community which it purports to serve and does not wholly duplicate any other publica-
tion and is not made up entirely of patents, plate matter and advertisements. Said
newspaper is circulated in and near the municipality which it purports to serve, has at
least 500 copies regularly delivered to paying subscribers, has an average of at least
75 per cent of its total circulation currently paid or no more than three months in 'arrears
and has entry as second-class matter in its local post -office. Said newspaper purports
to serve the Cities in the County of Dakota and it has its known offices of issue in the
Cities of Farmington, Rosemount, Burnsville, Apple Valley, and Lakeville established
and open during its regular business hours for the gathering of news, sale of advertise-
ments and sale of subscriptions and maintained by the managing officer of said news-
paper or persons in it's employ and subject to their direction and control during all such
regular business hours and at which said newspaper is printed. Said newspaper files
a copy of each issue immediately with the State Historical Society. Said newspaper
has complied with all the foregoing conditions for at least two years preceding the day
or dates of publication mentioned below. Said newspaper has filed with the Secretary
of State of Minnesota prior to January 1, 1966 and each January 1 thereafter an affi-
davit in the form prescribed by the Secretary of State and signed by the managing
officer of said newspaper and sworn to before a notary public stating that the news-
paper is a legal newspaper.
They further state on oath that the printed
