HomeMy WebLinkAbout0085 ORDINANCE N0. 85 ` CITY OF LAKEVILLE DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. k2, BEING THE ZANING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LAKEVILLE, MINNESOTA The City Council of the City of Lakeville ordains as follows: Section 1. That Ordinance N0. 42 be amhnded by amending Section 3.2 (50) thereof to read as follows:. Mobile Home. Any non self-propelled vehicle used or so constructed as to permit its being used as a conveyance upon the public streets or highways designed, constructed or reconstructed in such a manner as will. permit the occupancy therof as a dwelling or sleeping place for one or more persons, having no foundation other than wheels, jacks or skirting, which has the means for external con- nections to electricity, water and sewage disposal. Section 2. That Ordinance No. 42 be amended by adding thereto Section 15.5 to read as follows: No owner or renter shall use a mobile home for a dwelling or place of abode, on either a temporary or permanent basis, unless such mobile home is located within a licensed mobile home park. Section 3. That Ordinance No. 42 be amended by adding thereto Section 15.6 to read as follows: Conditional use permits shall not be granted for mobile .homes to be used as dwellings outside a licensed mobile home park. Section 4. This Ordinance shall not at the outset apply to existing mobile homes. However, within ten years £rom date o£ permit renewal, all mobile homes shall be brought into confoamance with this Ordinance. Section 5. (2) Said newspaper is a weekly and is distributed at least once each week. (3) Said newspaper has 50% of its news column devoted to news of local interest to the community which it purports to serve and does not wholly duplicate any other publication and is not made up entirely of patents, plate matter and adver- tisements. (4) Said newspaper is circulated in and near the municipality which it purports to serve, has at least 240 copies regularly delivered to paying subscribers, has an average of at least 75% of its total circulation currently paid or no more than three months in arrears and has entry as second class -matter in its local post - office. (5) Said newspaper purports to serve the Village of Lakeville in the County of Dakota and it has its known office of issue in the City of Lakeville in said county, established and open during its regular business hours for the gather- ing of news, sale of advertisements and sale of subscriptions and maintained by the publisher or persons in his employ and subject to hs direction and control dur- ing all such regular business hours and at which said newspaper is printed. (6) Said newspaper files a copy of each issue immediately with the State Historical Society. (7) Said newspaper has complied with all the foregoing conditions for at least two years preceding the day or dates of publication mentioned below. (8) Said newspaper has filed with the Secretary of State of Minnesota prior to January 1, 1966 and each January 1 thereafter an affidavit in the form prescribed by the Secretary of State and signed by publisher of said news- paper and sworn to before a notary public stating that the news- paper is a legal newspaper.
