HomeMy WebLinkAbout0052 VILLAGE OF LAKEVILLE DAKOTA COUNTY MINNESOTA ORDINANCE N0: AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO CRIMES AND PROVIDING A MAXIMUM PENALTY FOR MISDEMEANORS Be it ordained by the Village Council of the Village of Lakeville: SECTION L. Penalties. The violation of any ordinance declared by the Village Council to be a misdemeanor shall"`be punished by a fine o€ not to .exceed Three Hundred ($300.00) Dallars.or liy imprisonment in the Village or County jail for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days, or both, but in either case the costs of prosectuibn may be added. SECTION II. Validity. If any section, sentence, clause, or phrase of this ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of the ordinance. SECTION III. Application and Effective Date.. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its publication according to law, and shall apply to every ordinance regardless of its date of enactment.
