Penalties. The violation of any ordinance declared by the Village Council. to be a misdemeanor shall be punished by a fine or not to exceed Three f?undred ($300.~l~) Dollars or by imprisonment in the Village or County jail for a period not to exceed ninety, (90) days, or both, but in either case the costs of ~arosecution may be added. Section 2. Validity, If any section, sentence, clause, or phrase of this ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of the ordinance. Section 3. Application and effective date.
