CITY OF LAKEVILLE
RESOLUTION NO. 07-164
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION
WHEREAS, several individuals and local businesses indicated in the
attached list made donations fior a total of $18,505.00 to the City of Lakeville to
be used for door prizes at National Night Out; and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 465.03 requires that alLgifts and donations
of real or personal property be accepted only with the adoption of a resolution of
the governing body.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Lakeville. that the total donation of $18,505.00 from several. individuals and local
businesses is hereby accepted; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Lakeville sincerely thanks
• the individuals and businesses for their generous donation,

auction
? AAA Minnesota/Iowa donated a set of luggage for a value of $60.00 to be used for
NNO silent auction
? .Minnesota Twins donated a gift certificate for a value of $80.00 to be used for NNO
silent auction
? Patricia Jones donated 240 Ty beanie. babies. (Value. $6.00 each) 32 big Ty beanie.
Buddies (value $10.00 each) to be used for crime prevention
? Value: $1,760.00
• ? Dakota Electric donated bag cooler, Frisbees, golf socks for a value of $297.00 to
be used for NNO
? MOA (Mall of A~nerica) donated 1,750 (at $5.00 each) free ride passes fora value
of $ 8,750 to be used for NNO party packs
? Toll Company donated one helium tank for a value of $70.00 to be used for NNO
? US Federal Credit Union donated coffee tumblers, game set, picture clips,' golf
balls, tape measures and card strips for a value of $ 137.00 to be used for NNO
p~Y Packs.
? McDanalds's
? Apple dippers, animal crackers, boxes of orange drink, 500 coupons for free cone,
4000 coupons for free. French fries, 20 coupons for free meal, 20 coupons for free
salads. Value - $4,474.00 to be used for Crime Prevention events.
Total: $18,505.00
