HomeMy WebLinkAbout04-10-89 • • i CITY OF LAKEVILLE SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING APRIL 10, 1989 The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Mayor Zaun. The pledge of allegiance was given. Roll call was taken. Present: Councilmembers Nelson, Enright, Sindt, Harvey and Mayor Zaun. Also present: Bill Peterson, Senior Appraiser for Dakota County; and Dennis Feller, Acting City Administrator. At this time, Bill Peterson, Senior Appraiser from the Dakota County Assessors Office, made a presentation of the overall procedures used to determine 1989 values. 89.154 Motion was made by Sindt, seconded by Harvey to acknowledge receipt of letters protesting market values presented to the local Board of Review. Roll call was taken on the motion. Ayes, Zaun, Enright, Sindt, Harvey, Nelson At this time, the assessor met with all individuals who appeared. 89.155 Motion was made by harvey, seconded by Sindt to acknowledge letter of protest from William Block. Roll call was taken on the motion. Ayes, Enright, Sindt, Harvey, Nelson, Zaun. Mike Faulk, of Linville Properties, made a presentation of the Crystal Pointe Plat. 89.156 Motion was made by Enright, seconded by Sindt to approve the Conditional Use Permit for Crystal Pointe, subject to review at the next Council meeting. Roll call was taken on the motion. Ayes, Sindt, Harvey, Nelson, Zaun, Enright. 89.157 Motion was made by Harvey, seconded by Sindt to set the compensation for the Acting City Administrator for the month April, 1989, at $4,601. Roll call was taken on the motion. Ayes, harvey, Nelson, Zaun, Enright, Sindt. Tom Louckes made a presentation of the plat known as Lakeville Commons. r ^ V ~ • CITY OF LAKEVILLE SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING APRIL 10, 1989 Discussion ensued concerning the necessity of providing a road connecting the plat with access to the east half of the Ardmore Trailer Park. 89.158 Motion was made by Harvey, seconded by Nelson to approve the rezoning, planned unit development district, conditional use permit, concept and development stage planned unit development subdivision, preliminary plat for Lakeville Commons, subject to linking the streets in the plan known as Lakeville Commons with the east half of Ardmore Trailer Park. Roll call was taken on the motion. Ayes, Nelson, Zaun, Enright, Sindt, Harvey. 89.159 Motion was made by Sindt, seconded by Harvey to approve the execution of the City Administrator agreement with Robert A. Erickson. Roll call was taken on the motion. Ayes, Zaun, Enright, Sindt, Harvey, Nelson. At this time, George Warweg presented his objections to the Indra Way improvement project on the basis that he felt he should not, under any circumstances, have to pay for street assessments. 89.160 Motion was made by Sindt, seconded by Nelson to adjourn the special council meeting.
