CITY OE LAKEVILLE COUNCIL MEETING
April 5, 19$2.
Themeeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Mayor Jensen. The pledge
of allegiance to the flag was given.
Roll call was taken. Present: Councilmembers"Nelson, Jensen and Sindt..
Absent: Zaun and Enright.
Also present: James Robinette, Public Works Director; Keith Nelson,
Consulting Engineers Diversified; Roger Knutson, Granns & Grannis;
and Dennis Feller, Finance Director.
Councilmember Nelson pointed out .that A2otion #82..111 should be changed.
Such that the word "approve-" be changed to the. word "inc],ude".
82...133 Motion was:made by Nelson, seconded by Sindt to a?~prove the minutes of
the March 15, 1982. council meeting with the one correction.
Roll cal7.'was taken on the motion. Ayes, Jensen, Sindt and Nelson:`
82.134 Motion was made by Sindt, seconded by Nelson to approve the claims-for
payment in the amount of $368,304.12.
Ro1lcall was taken on the motion. Ayes, Sindt, Nelson and Jensen.
There .were no staff reports.
82.135 Motion was made by Nelson, seconded by Sindt to receive .the minutes: of
the March 2'and March 16'Natural Resources Committee; the March 17
Parks and Recreation Committee; and the March l8 Planning Commission
meetings.
Roll call was taken on the motion.` Ayes, Nelson, Jensen and Sindt.
At, this time, Mayor Jensen and the City engineer, Keith Nelson, gave
a report: concerning a, meeting that then had with the Minnesota Depart-
merit of Transportation concerning the improvement of the intersection
of 202nd Street and Holyoke Avenue.
82.136 Motion was made by Nelson, seconded by Sindt to close the. public hearing
on ,the proposed street impro~rement of the intersection of Hol_v_oke Avenue
and 202nd'Streety State Highway 50 and .Dakota County Highways 64 and 15.
Roll-call was taken on the motion. Ayes; Jensen, Sindt and Nelson.
82.137 Motion was made by Nelson, seconded by Sine~t-to deny the project con-
cernng the proposed street improvement of the 'intersection of_Holvoke-
venue and '202nd Street, .State Highway 50`and Dakota County Highways.

82.138 Motion was made by Sndt,'seconded by Nelson to renew the special home
occupation: permit to ope~`ate'a preschool program at the home of_ Gerald
.and Mary Ackermann,'located at 20828:`Tsle Avenue West, for a period of
up to three years.

82-.139- Motion was made by Sindt, seconded by'N€:1aon to table consideration
of the preliminary plat known as Orchard Lake Estates, rezoning for
a Planned Unit Development. conditional use permit, a shoreland conditional
use permit for that .portion within 1000 teet of Orchard. Lake and a
petition to vacate certain streets in Club Park Addition No. 1 located
southeast of Kodiak Avenue an;d 175th Street.

82.140 Motion was made by Nelson seconded by Sndt to receive the petition
from property owners along County Road 44, between 168th Street and
the entrance to the Chart House, requesting the extension of sanitary
sewer.

82,141 Motion was made by Sindt, seconded by Ne~aon to table the public
hearing on the proposed street improvement of_Hu11 Avenue between
207th Street and 205th Street.

82.142 rgotion was made by Nelson, seconded by Sndt to approve the grading
plan and..agreement with Northland Mortgage Company: for the Foxborough
.Second Addition'on the west side of_ Cedar Avenue, ,as recommended by
the Public Works Director:
Roll call .was taken on the motion. Ayes, Jensen, Sndt and Nelson.
82.143 Motion was made by'Nelson, seconded by Sindt to table consideration
of a raffle license for the Lakeville Hockey Boosters until.. the
April 12 special council meeting.

82.144 P4otion was made by Sindt, seconded by Nelson to a~aprove the assessment
abatement for a parcel o£ property owned by John A Rengo, as recom-
mended by. the County Assessor.

82.145 Motion was made by Sindt, seconded by Nelson to approve Resolution
No. 82-20 amending the 1982 General Fund Budget:

82.-146 Motion was made by Sindt, seconded by Nelson to apurove the agreement
between the City of Lakeville,. James, McNearney".and S & S Corporation
concerning special assessments levied for sborm sewer in McNearney
Addition:
