MARCH 12, 1984

9:10 p.m. after the conclusion of the annual H.R.A. meeting and the
city council work session at the city hall. .Roll call was taken.
Present: Council members Nelson, Sindt, Enright, Harvey and Mayor
Zaun.

Patrick McGarvey, City Administrator/Clerk.
The city administrator explained to the city council that a call had
been received on March 12th from Mr. Robert Lambert of Inter Design,
Inc. requesting that the bid opening for the bids on the new police
station be extended because of the necessity to prepare an addendum
to the specifications for a change in the roof design. Mr. Lambert
felt that there was not sufficient .time from March 12th to March
15th to get the addendum out to all of the bidders and explain it to
them thoroughly so that they could make a thorough understanding of
it for including in their bid on the project. The city attorney had
advised that the city council needed to reset the bid date, and the
staff recommended that the bid date be reset to March 29, 1984, at
2:00 p.m. and readvertised.
84.122 Motion was made by Sindt, seconded by Enright to reset the bid date
for bids on the new police station for March 29, 1984, at 2 p.m. in
the council chamber.
Roll call was taken on the motion. Ayes, Zaun, Sindt, Enright,
