CITY OF LAKE~~ILLE SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
APRIL 9, 1.979
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Mayor Lekson.
Roll call was taken. Present; Councilmefibers Spande, Curry, Nelson, and
Mayor Lekson. Absent: Zaun.
Also present: Roger Knutson, City Attorney;'Darrell Schneider, City Engineer;
Steve Ryan, City Planning Consultant; and Patrick McGarvey, City Administrator/
Clerk.
Also in attendance 'at the meeting were members of the Planning Commission,
John Asmus and Marvin Geisness.
fine City staff presented bid tabulation on bids received for a beer cooler, and
written quotations received on shelving and cash registers for Liquor Store ~2.
The City Council reviewed the bids and quotations.
79.1b2 Motion was ::made by Curry,:-seconded by Nelson to receive the bids on the beer
cooler and approve the bid: from James Refrigeration as the only qualified bidder,.
in the amount of $22,430 and to include a heat reclaimed coil in the amount of
$1,142.
Roll call was taken on-the motion. Ayes'Spande, ~,ekson, Curry,, ..and Nelson.
Nays, none.
Mr. Douglas James was present and reviewed with the CouncaZ co.l,or selection for
door .frames on the beer cooler an_d tore shelving. Also included was a review
of color and style of carpet.
X9.163 Motion was made by Spande, seconded by Nelson to receive the quotes on the..
shelving for Liquor Store ~1d2.
Roll call was taken on the motion. Ayes Lekson, Curry, Nelson, and-Spande.
79..164. Motion. was made by Curry, seconded by Lekson to award the purchase of the shelving
for Liquor Store X62 to James Refrigeration in the amount of $5,998.35 as the
low quote.
Roll call was taken on the motion. Ayes, Curry, Nelson, Spande,_and Lekson.
79..165 Motion was made by Curry, seconded by Nelson to receive the quotes on the purchase
of cash registers .for the Liquor Store.
Roll call was taken on the motion. Ayes, Nelson, Spande, Lekson, and Curry.
79.166 Motion was made by Nelson, seconded by Spande to table till April 16, 1979,.
Council meeting action on the purchase of cash registers.

79.167 Motion; was made by Spande, seconded by Nelson to adjourn the Special Council
Meeting.
