CITY OF LAKEVILLE
DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 674
BEING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE
CITY OF LAKEVILLE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEVILLE ORDAINS:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 674 is hereby amended to rezone from RM-1, Medium
Density Residential District, RS-CBD, Single Family Residential District:CBD Area,
and C-3, General Commercial District to PUD, Planned Unit Development, for the
following described property:
The East 165 feet of that part of the E 1/i of the SE ~/a of the SE ~/a lying South of
Sorensen's Addition to Lakeville, Minn., of Section 29, Township 114, Range 20,
except the East 10 feet of the South 224.50 feet thereof, according to the
Government Survey thereof, Dakota County, Minnesota.
And
Lots 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10, Sorensen's Addition to Lakeville, MN.
And
That portion of 209"' Street, formerly known as Elm Street .and also formerly
known as Front Street, lying Northerly of Lots 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 of Sorensen's
Addition to the Village of Lakeville; Dakota County, Minnesota, according to the
recorded plat thereof, lying Southerly of the Chicago,- Milwaukee, St. Paul and
Pacific Railroad Company's Southwesterly right-of--way line; lying Easterly of the
Northerly extension of the Westerly lot line of Lot 5 of said Sorensen's Addition;
lying .Westerly of the Northerly extension of the. Easterly. lot line of Lot 10,
Sorensen's Addition.
And
That .part of .the Southeast corner of Lot 1 of Sorensen's Addition to .the Village of
Lakeville, Dakota County,. Minnesota; according to the recorded plat thereof,
thence Southeasterly on the Southerly line of said Sorensen's Addition a distance
of 279.73 feet to the West line of the East 165.00 feet of the Southeast Ala of said
Section 29; thence Southerly on said West line. of the East 165.00 feet a distance
of 416.85 feet to the South line of the Southeast ~/4 of said Section 29; thence
Westerly on the South line of said Southeast ~/a. a distance of 464.99 feet to the
Southeast corner of the plat of Fairfield, Dakota County, Minnesota; according to
.the recorded plat thereof, thence Northerly on the East line of said plat and on the
east line of Block 1 and Block 8 thereof a distance of 556.36 feet to the Southwest
corner of said Lot 1 of Sorensen's Addition; thence Southeasterly on the Southerly
line of said Lot 1 a distance of 204.76 feet to the point of beginning, according to
the Unites States Government Survey thereof and situated in Dakota County,
Minnesota.
Said property is located within the City of Lakeville, Dakota County, Minnesota.
Section 2. The zoning rnap of the City of Lakeville shall not. be republished. to
show the aforesaid rezoning, but the City Clerk shall appropriately mark the. zoning
map on file in the City Clerk's office. for the purpose of indicating the rezoning
hereinabove provided for in this Ordinance, and all of the notations, references
and other information shown thereon are hereby incorporated by reference and
made a part of this Ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be effective upon its passage, publication, and the
recording of the Meadowlark Wren .First Addition final plat.
Adopted by the Lakeville City Council this 20~' day of February 2007.
