HomeMy WebLinkAbout0825 ORDINANCE NO. 825 CITY OF LAKEVILLE DAKOTA, COUNTY, MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 6, CHAPTER 2 OF THE LAKEVILLE CITY CODE CONCERNING EXTERIOR STORAGE OF MOTOR VEHICLES THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEVILLE, MINNESOTA ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Section 6-2-1 of the Lakeville City Code as amended by deleting the definition of "junk cars" and adding. the definition of "junk motor vehicles": Junk Motor Vehicle:. Any motor vehicle which is not in operable condition or is partially dismantled, or which. is used. for the sale of parts or as a source of repair or replacement parts for other vehicles, or which is kept for scraping, dismantling or salvage of any kind, or which is not properly licensed for operation within the State of Minnesota, except seasonal service vehicles, where license is required for part of the year only SECTION 2. Section 6-2-10 of the Lakeville City Code is amended to read: 6-2-10: EXTERIOR STORAGE: No motor vehicle, trailer, boat, snowmobile or seasonal vehicle shall be parked, kept or stored outside on any premises if: 1. It is inoperable or apparently inoperable; or 2. It is partially dismantled or in a state of disrepair; or 3. Is not properly licensed for operation within the State of Minnesota. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be effective June 1, 2007. ADOPTED this 16tH day of April , 2007, by the City Council of the City of Lakeville, Minnesota.
