AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 10 (SUBI7IVISI4N ORDINANCE) OF THE
.LAKEVILLE CITY CODE RELATED TO RESIDENTIAL BUFFER YARDS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEVILLE- ORDAINS:
Sects Section 10-4-2.1 of the Lakeville Gity Code is hereby amended to
read as follows:
I. Frontage On Two Streets: Double. frontage, or lots with
frontage on two (2) parallel streets shall not be
permitted except:.where lots. back on major collector
or arterial streets, county or state highways, or
where topographic.. or other conditions render
subdividing otherwise unreasonable. Such.. double
frontage lots shall adhere to the following
requirements: ~
1. Double frontage lots. shall have sufficient depth
in order to .allow space for screen plantings
and/or buffering along the rear lot line.
2. Double. frontage lots abutting major coilector or
arterial streets shall conform to the
requirements of Section 11-21-9.C of the Zoning
Ordinance.
3. Double frontage lots abutting local or minor.
collector streets shall have an additional depth
of twenty feet (20') to allow for screen
plantings and/or .earth berms along the rear lot
line.
Section 2. Section 10-4-2.K of the Lakeville City Code is hereby amended to
read as follows:

K. Buffer Side Yards: In the case of single family
residential lots with side yards that abut major
collector or arterial streets, the.. buffer yard
requirements of Section 11-21-9.C of the Zoning
Ordinance shall apply.
Section 3. Section 10-4-2 of the Lakeville City Code is hereby amended to add
the following provision:
0. The grading plan for all single family
residential subdivisions shall provide for an
-area with a slope not greater than ten .percent
(1Qo) extending not less than a depth of twenty
feet (20') from the rear line of the building pad
the entire width of the building pad, except as
approved by the .City Engineer.
Sect` ion
4. This Ordinance. shall be effective immediately upon its passage and
publication according to law.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 10
(SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE) OF THE
LAKEVILLE CITY CODE RELATED TO
RESIDENTIAL BUFFER YARDS
This Ordinance amends Title 10 of the
Lakeville City Code. The ordinance will
revise zoning regulations in the following
areas: residential buffer yard require-
ments for double frontage lots and lots
abutting major collector or arterial
streets; grading plan requirements for
single family residential subdivisions.
A printed copy of the ordinance is avail-
able for inspection by any person during
regular office hours at the office of the
City Clerk.
