Present; Brander, Mako, Jensen, Emond and Clarkron. Also present; Robert Frigaard, City Engineer. 7.108 Motion by Mako seconded by Emond to accept the .minutes of the February 19, 197~F, meeting as written. Brander, Mako, Jensen, gnond and Clarkson "aye", motion carried. 7.109 Motion by Clarkson seconded by'Brandes to accept the minutes of the February'20, 197+, meeting. Mako, Jensen, Emond, Clarkson and Branrles "aye", motion carried. 7+.110 Motion by Mako seconded by Emond. to pay the claims against the City. List attached. Jensen, Emond, Clarkson, Brander and Ma,ko "aye", motion carried, Mr, Mako gave a report on iahat had been accomplished regarding the bus survey. The minutes of the Planning Commission for February 1~+, 197+, were presented by John Antolik. 7+.111 Motion by Nlako seconded by Brander to follow the recommendation of the Planning Commission and grant Gary L. Parker a conditional use permit for television and radio repair in his home at 8710 210th St. W. Emond, Clarkson, Brander, Mako and Jenren "aye", motion carried. Mr. Bill Price, engineer for Suburban Engineering and representing Prairie Investment, presented the final plat. of the PUD. 7+.112 Motion by Mako reeonded by Emond to approve the final plat of Parkside subject to the review of the drainage plan, the review of the walkway easement, the west easement being made a part of Outlot B and the review of the sidewalks. Clarkson, Brander, Mako, Jensen and Emond "aye", motion carried. ,7+.113 Motion by Brander seconded by Mako to adopt the plan for odd year elections. Brander, Mako, Jensen, Emend and Clarkson "aye", motion carried. Lloyd Wettencamp of Cable T.V. gave a progress report of the installation of lines to date. He also presented a rate schedule to the council. 7~F.11~F Motion by Emond seconded by Clarkson to approve the abatements as listed on the attached form from the County. Mako, Jensen, Emond, Clarkson and Brander "aye", motion carried. 7+.115 Motion by Emond seconded by Clarkson to approve the abatement for 20899 in Liberty Heights which belongs to the'Cty, Jensen, Emond, Clarkron, Brander and Mako "aye", motion carried. 7+.116 Mrxtion by Emond seconded by Mako to grant D & M Hauling a garbage license. E~nond, Clarkson, Brander, Mako and Jensen "aye", motion carried. 7+.117 Motion by Emond seconded by Clarkson to approve the utility permit for Central .Telephone Company for the installation of a buried cable along Highway 50 from Holyoke Avenue, east to Farmington. Clarkson, Brander, Mako, Jensen and Emond "aye", motion carried. 7.118 Motion by Mako seconded by Brander to acknowledge the claim against the bond for labor and materials in performance of contract with Vern;_Donnay Realty, Inc. by Alexander Construction Co., Claim on file it City offices. Brander, Mako, Jensen, Emond and Clarkson "aye", motion carried. 7.119 Motion by Emond seconded by Mako to .deny the request of George Grohosk. for an excavating permit until the final approval of Lakeridge plat. Mako, Jensen, Emond, Clarkson, and Brander "aye", motion carried. 7~-.1~0 Motion by E~ond seconded by Brander to approve the utility permit No. 5-10 197+ for Minnegasco. Jensen, Emond, Clarkson, Brander and Mako "aye, motion carried.. ~1) CITY OF IA~;~TILLE COUNCIL MEE'T]1VG M.ARCH4, 197 A request for a light at the corner of County Road 6~+ and Holyoke Ave. was turned over to the Public Works Director for a recommendation. 7+.121 Motion by Mako seconded by Clarkson to adopt the resolution re piano music in the Liquor Store, copy attached. Emond, Clarkson, Brander, ~Iako and Jensen "aye", motion carried. Norm Jensvald asked. the council i~ something could be done about the water in the ditch onl68th St. and. if the City had .taken over Va11ey Lake yet. He also asked if a meeting could be set up with the City Attorney and the residents of Va11ey Park who have liens filed against their homer. 7+.122 Motion by Bnond seconded by Clarkson to authorize the Mayor to set up a meeting with Mr. Farrell and the homeowners in Va11ey Park who have liens Filed .against their homes so that this problem can be reviewed.
