The clerk was instructed to send a letter to the Park and Recreation Co~i.ttee that they look into the possibility of purchasing the two lots adjacent to the Forest Hills pumphouse. 47~+.5~ Motion by Clarkson seconded by E~aond to authorize the expenditure of X1650 for a slope easement and 1.l acre for a permanent easement to Mr. Wilford Barrett. for lead almog Hi.gh~i.ew Avenue. Brander, Make, Jensen, Emend and Clarkson "aye", motion carried. Persons.living i.n Valley Park unfinished homes were present 'to inquire as to the statue of the completion of these homes. Mr. Farrell advised that he had no written report at this time but the liens are still being settled. Mr. Jo~ade and Mr. Scanlon said they were interested i.n closing on their homes. A letter from the Fire Department regarding a change in Ordinance 33 was read. This matter was referred to the City .Attorney for a recgm~uendati.on.
