Present; Fraedges, Makc>, Jensen as~d Emond. Absent; Edwards. Also present; Robert Fragaard~ Village Engineer. Mr. Frigaard asked for elarificataon of plans ~c specs ordered far the Valley Park Drainage Area. He also suggested that it would. be a good idea tc~ buy the land for the water reservoir at the present time.. 73.191 Motion by Jensen seconded by Mako to limit the plans & specs for water and sewer in the Valley Park Drainage Area to°service the area in the first mile west of Cedar Avenue and to proceed with the purchase of the reservoir site. Fraed,ges, Mako, Jensen aaad Emond "aye", motion carried. The culverts, under Dodd Blvd and Flagstaff Avenue were discussed. It was mentioned that Mr. Donnay w11 lay the pipe under Dodd Blvd. if the county and the village wi11 provide the pipe and that this expenditure for pipe would be split 55~ for the county and ~5~ for the village. 73.182 M©tion by Emond seconded by Friedges that the village agrees with the county proposal to participate in placing the culvert under Dodd Blvd. Mako, Jensen, Emond and.Friedges "aye", motion carried. A letter from School District 19~ regaz~ding the traffic problem at Lakeville Hi11s was read. 73.193 Motion by E~nond seconded by Jensen to set the equalization meeting for the 5th of June from 2s3O P.A~. to 8 P.M. Jensen, Emond, F'riedges and Mako "aye", motion carried. Letters from the Lakeville Fare Department and General. Safety Co. were read. Mr. Friga.ard will cheek out the specs on the fire truck to see if the right chassis was provided. 73.19+ Motion by Emond seconded by Mako to authorize the signing of the remodeling contract of the old maintenance building. Emond, Fried.ges, Mako and Jensen "aye" motion carried. 73.195 M®ta.on by Friedges seconded by Emend to authorize Glenn N©rd to work on the Lakeville Crystal Lake answer to the Burnsville letter. Friedges, Mako, Jensen aaad Emond "aye", motion serried. Various expenditures for the street department were discussed. 73.196 Motion by Emond seconded by Friedges to authorize the purchase of chloride from the county by Mr. Hoffbeck as needed. Mako, Jensen, Emond and Fredges "aye", motion carried. A Setter was read from the Human Rights Committee. 73.197 Motion by Jensen seconded by Mako endorsing the Human Rights Committee propos al: and have them go ahead with their program. Jensen, Emend, Fraedges and Mako "aye", motion Qarried. 73.198 Motion by Emond seconded by ~tako to order a feasibility study for street improvements of 162nd and 163rd streets west of Judicial Road .an Orchard Gardens. Emo~.d, Friedges, Mako and Jensen "aye", motion carried. The position of assistant weed inspector was discussed. 73.199 Motion by Mako seconded by Emond to hire one man for the street department. Fried.ges, MakO and Emond "sye",..Jensen opposed, motion carried.
