Present; Friedges,`Clay, Jensen, Su113va~ and ~nond. .Also present; Pat Farrell Village Attorney and James Taurinskas, attorney. 72.7 Motion by Friedgss seconded by Enlond to approve the minut~!s of the November 20, 1972 meeting e,s read. Friedges, Clay, Jensen, Sullivan and E~aond "aye", motion carried.: 72.750 Motion by Ehiond seconded by Frisdges to approve the minutes of the special Novembesr 27, 1972 meeting as read. Clay, Jensen, Sullivan, fond and Friedges +taye", moti€in Qa2^ried. 72.751 Motion... by Sullivan, seconded by Friedges tt> pay the claims against the Village, cheeks # 8910 thru 8912 and 906+ thru 9096. Mr. Herb,~Lambert reported the following bids on a snowblower:. ~~19-Tinges 7~ HP 337 ~retic Cat 7 HP 300 Farmers Union 7 HP 72.752 Motion by Sullivan seconded by Clay to purchase the snowblower from Farmers Ur~ox3: for $300.. Sullivan, Effiond, Friedges, Clad and Jensen "aye", motion carried. The rental of a. tank tx~zek to water the .rinks .was: discussed. Fischer's..quoted a, flat. fee of>504 Plus ,insurance would have to be purchased by the Village. Mr. Jensen.advised the.. park board that he...had a tank they could borrow for the w3.nter and this is going to be dons. The clerk was instructed to have a notice placed in the paper that th~srs gill be ne snowmobiling in the `parks; until there hays been. sufficient snow. Signs are also going to be placed where no snowmobiling will be allowed... Mr. Radermacher presented a list.€~f requests to the council which included the followings' a part timeeecretar~r one new policeman 2 new squad. cars 72.753 Motion by Ec~nd seconded by Clay. to approve these requests of the police chief with the secretary starti~ag about the let of January, the policeman the 1st. of February and the purchase of the squad cars spaced so that the payments come due the 1st of .April and the let of May. ~ndi Friedges, Clay, Jensen and Sullivan "aye", motion serried., Gail Davis and Robert..Clarke appeared with the.Wildwood Ponds .plat. 'The lake~and snowmobile trails wars discussed. parks 72.57~F Motion by Clay seconded by Friedges to approve Wilelwood Ponds preliminary plat afterdue consideration. Friedges, Clay, Jensen, Sullivan and ~nond "aye'+, motion carried. The lighting ordinance was postponed fore two weeks. Mr. Farrell-advised the council that he had reviewed the Metropolitan Hosing Plan Development and felt that Lakeville had more than its share of subsidized housing which. would. make his attendance unimportant. Mr. Dave Sapple of P.M.Eadsley Co. presented the councilwith. a quote on insurance ooverage. 72.575 Motion by Sullivan seconded by Jensen approving the issuance of policies by Mr. Sapple and g3.ving Mr. Farrell one.-week to study the present policy .and the one issued by Mr. Sapple and make a recommendation. Sullivan, Emond, Fredges, .Clay and Jensen "aye", motion carried. A letter from Mr. Richard Todd regarding the roads in the Appaloosa development was rea8. A letter from. Mr. Frigaard relating to the road. in Szabo's First Addition was read. It was. felt that Mr. F'rigaard should make. a further recommendation regarding this road. 72.578 Motion by Jensen seconded by Sullivan authorizing approval of the Agreement Relating To Paying Agency i'or Sewage 1'retment.Bonds-DTD 6-1-62 Jun & Dec. 2.75 3.20 3.64 3.75 3.go with the changes as suggested by Springsted Inc.
