Present; Friedges, Clay, Mako, Sullivan and Taft. Also present.; Dave Grannis, attorney and R. Frgaard,.engneer. 1002. "Motion by Clay seconded by Taft to accept the minutes of the July 6, 1971, meeting as read. Friedges, Clay, Mako, Sullivan and Taft "aye'°,_motion carried. The building inspector presented his report. 1003. notion by Friedges seconded by Taft to raise the plum~.ng-fee to $16, an increase of $l. Clay, Mako, Sullivan, Taft and Friedges "aye':',.emotion carried. 1004. Aiotion_by Taft seconded by Sullivan to `charge an additional dollar for each .building permit. Mako, Sullivan, Taft, Friedges and Clay "aye", moton_carried, Jack $~orner requested that the council have a dead end. sign installed on his road. Mr. Sullivan will see that this is done. 1005. -Motion by Clay seconded by Friedges to release the easement for Robert P. and Donna M. Klotz, description as follows: That part of the East_i of the Northeast ~ of Section 33, Township.: 114 North,. Range 20 West, Dakota County,. Minnesota,described as follows: Commencing in the North west corner of said East ~ of the Northeast thence East .along said North line a distance of 250 feet.-to'the point of beginning; thence continuing East along said North Line a distance of 234 feet.; thence South parallel with the West line of the said East ~ of the Northeast ~ a distance of 481.74 feet-ta the Northerly railroad right-of-way .line; thence continuing South and parallel with the West line of the East z of the Northeast ~ to the center line of State Highway. No. 50 as the same is now designated and acquired; thence Northwesterly along said center line to its intersection with a-Line drawn parallel with and distant 250 feet East of the West 13ne of the said East 2 of the Northeast i4j thence North along said line which is drawn .parallel with and distant 250 feet. East of the West line of said East' of the Northeast 4 to the point of beginning.. Sullivan, Taft, Friedges, Clay .and Mako "aye", motion carried. The July 8, 1971, Planning Commission report was. presented. 1006. Motion by Sullivan seconded by Friedges to follow the Planning Commission recommendation and grant a variance to the side and front set back ordinance to Richard M. Walz. Taft, Friedges,. Clay, Mako and Sullivan "aye", motion carried. I007. Motion by Friedges seconded. by Clay to follow. the Planning Commission recommendation and grant a permit to Henry Rgnonti to build a Wausau Home. Friedges, Clay,_ Mako, Sullivan and Taft "ayet1, motion carried. 1008. Motion by Clay seconded by Sullivan to table the matter of',Jesco Inc.. for placing and keeping a mobile home inde'finitely.. Clay, Mako, Sullivan, Taft and Friedges "aye", motion carried. 1009. Motion by Sullivan seconded by Mako to grant Denny Dunham a gravel permit. Mako, Sullivan, Taft, .Friedges and Clay "aye", motion. carried. Myrtle Sorenson and Bob Dunham explained to the council that they were now going to purchase .land from Mr. Lorentson for the cemetary. IOIO. Dirk Gasterland appeared to request that the coy~il consider fencing the Orchard Lake Parka He said that he had lost many things to the people using the park. 1011. Motion by Clay seconded by Friedges to refer the fencing of the park to the Park & Recreation Committee for their recommendations as to type, amount etc. Taft, Friedges, Clay, Mako and Sullivan "aye'°, motion carried. The bids on the new water & sewer project were reviewed. 1012. Motion by Friedges seconded by Taft to accept the bids as taken. (Copy attached) Friedges, Clay, Mako, Sullivan and Taft "aye", motion carried. -1013. Motion by Clay seconded by Friedges to follow the engineer's recommendation and reject the awarding of any bids. Clay, Pfako, Sullivan, Taft and Friedges "aye", motion carried. 1014. Edotion by Sullivan seconded by Taft to advertise for bids for the lateral portion in Glenn Addition and trunk that servesas lateral in Glenn Addition. Bids will be taken on Thursday, August 12, 1971. the recommendation that trunk be bid as a separate project and set up for winter work will be followed. Mako, Sullivan, Taft, Friedges and Clay "aye", motion carried. Walter .King, Jr's J.P. reports were reviewed. A motion by Taft seconded by Sullivan to notify Mr. Casperson that he is in violation of the ordinance was. withdrawn. 1015. Motion by Taft seconded by Clay to refer the matter to purchase the Casperson land for park property to the Park & Recreation Committee. fora recommendation. Sullivan, Taft, Friedges, Clay and Mako "aye", motion carried. A letter from Midwest Planners was reviewed and discussed. 1016. Motion by Sullivan. seconded by Taft to change the fee for rezonings from $45 to $60. .Taft., Friedges, .Clay, Mako and Sullivan "aye", motion carried. An article in regard to the weed season is to be placed in the papers. 1017. Motion by Taft seconded by Clay to grant a set-up license;;-to New Antlers Park. Friedges, Clay, Mako, Sullivan and Taft "aye", motion carried.. A letter from Metro Council re the 701 plan was read. Motion by Sullivan seconded by Taft to adjourn. carried unanimously.
