AUGUST 9, 1971
The meeting was: called. to orde-r by Mayor`Mako at 8 P.M. Flag pledge followed.
Prvent Friedges, Clay, Mako, 5ullivnn:and Taft.
1052. Motaon by Sullivan. seconded by Clay to accept the minutes of the Aug. 2, 1971,.
meeting as read. Friedges, Elay,_Mako, Sullivan and Taft`"aye", motion carried.
The Village:.. inspector's report was presented.
-1053.: Motaon by Taft seconded by Clay to raise the fee of the sewer permit to $8,.50.
Clay, Mako,.Sullivan Taft and Friedges "aye", motion carried.
~Mr. 0. J Speiker asked the council if something can be done-to widen his
road and also if this road could havea name and be shown. on the map as it
is a Village road.. Lt was decided that Mr,Sullivan and Bob Fr$aard-would get the
legal description for the road and that Ray Henry would see that the road is
widened.
Wil iam Hoffman requested information regarding the status of roads in LYndale
Lake`s Club Addition.
Mr.;& Mrs.: Haukos requested permission to operate a taxi service in Lakeville.
The council will check with ,the attorney for anordinance to cover this
.situation.
A discussion of the. snowmobile ordinance was opened. Don Clark, Lavern Wahl
and Kalmer Senstad were some of the'snowmobile owners present.. Don Clark
objected to the curfew times.
1054. Motion by Taft seconded by Sullivan to adopt the snowmobile ordinance.
"Mako,..Sullivan, Taft, Friedges and. Clay "aye", motion carried.
1055.. Motion-by Clay seconded bg Friedges to accept the plans and .specs for the
water & sewer extensions in Valley Park 5th Addition. Sullivan, Taft, Friedges,
Clay,and Mako "aye", mot~:on carried..
_ 1056. Motion by Taft seconded by Sullivan to, grant an excavating permit to
Mr. Undesser. Taft, Friedges, Clay, Mako and Sullivan "aye", motion carried.
1057. - Motion by Friedges seconded by Taft to have Geo. Hansen Co. audit the Village
books. Friedges, Clay, Mako, Sullivan and Taft "aye", motion carried.
Mr. Raplinger appearing ,in respect to the Stuart rezoning. was advised to go
to the Thurs Planning: Commission Meeting.
Motion by Friedges seconded by Sullivan to_adjourn at 9110 P.M. carried unanimously.
