SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING-AUGUST 24, 1970
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Jensen with
Mako, Jensen, Friedges, Sullivan and.. Taft present.. Also present were
Pat Farrell and Bob Frgaard. Flag pledge=was given.
Mr. Burger of Donnay's Valley Park was present to discuss the
proposed improvement of stoa~m sewer, curb and pavement The sanitary
sewer and water are already installed and the sod will be installed.
An agreement has been reached that is fair and fhe work will be
assessed against Donnay and the school. Donnay guarantees/no
assessments will be levied against the property owners. that
.337. Motion. by Sullivan seconded by Taft to adopt the resolution recommended
by Mr. Farrel ordering the storm sewer, curb and gutter and street
paving improvements in Valley Park 3rd Addition. Res. by Mr. Farrell
to be attached.
Friedges, Mako, Jensen, Sullivan and Taft "aye", motion carried.
338. Motion by Mako seconded. by Taft to adopt resolution recommended by
Mr. Farrell to approve plans and specs and ordering ad for bids for
the Valley Park 3rd Addition improvements. Mako, Jensen, Sullivan,
Taft and Friedges "aye", motion carried.:
Time for receiving bids was set for 3 P.M. on Sept.. 8, 1970.
339. Motion by Taft seconded by Sullivan to adopt resolution receiving
the. report and calling for a hearing on storm sewer improvements
in Sec. 2 & 3, T 114, R 20. The time being set at 8:30 P.M. on
Sept. 14, 1970.
Jensen, Sullivan, Taft, Friedgesand Mako "aye', motion carried.
340. Motion by Sullivan seconded by Mako that the Dakota County position
and .resolution No. 15 passed by the Board of County Commissioners
be supported. Sullivan, Taft, Friedges, Mako and Jensen "aye",
motion carried. Resolution attached.
A meeting was set for Aug. 31,.1970 at 7:30 P.M. for the budget.
Mr. Sullivan turned over a letter from the Milw. Railroad to be
read with the minutes at the first meeting in Sept.
Motion by Sullivan seconded by Mako to adjourn... All in favor, meeting
adjourned.
