Present; Taft, Sullivan, Mako, Friedges and Jensen. 100. Motion by Taft seconded by Sullivan to accept. the minutes of the March 2, 1970, meeting as read. Friedges, Mako,'Jensen, Sullivan and Taft "aye", motion carried. Buss Ackerman. gave his building report. 301. Motion by Sullivan seconded by Friedges to accept the following streets in Glen Addn. for maintenance: 207th St, to 205th St. on Iceland--.03 of `one mile from Iceland to Idalia on ZOSth St.:81 of one mile Mako, Jensen, Sullivan, Taft and Friedges "aye", motion carried. Mr. Kalina and Mr. Tillges were .present. with the proposed Park Terrxace Addn. plat. The council advised at the railroad is opposed to a crossing to Hiway 50. It wa `ide to leave Lot 4 open for a street and have a cul-de-sac at the East end of Spruce St. Tllges will revamp his plan and go back to .the Planning Commission with it. Mr. Zweber was present with proposed sketch of an addition west of All Saints Cemetary.- They would like to have the possibility of sewer .and water being extended into this area explored. 102. Motion by Taft seconded by Friedges to authorize a preliminary report for the proposed Brookside Estates 2nd Addn.. by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik $ Assoc. and brought back to he Water ~ Sewer Committee. If this project does not go thru, the cost will be charged against Zweber Realty.-. Jensen, Sullivan, Taft, Friedges and Mako "aye", motion carried. 103. Motion by Mako seconded by Taft to establish Tuesday, May 5th for e a special election on the question of Sunday liquor sales at special .clubs. Sullivan, Taft, Friedges, Mako and Jensen "aye, motion carried. 104. Motion by Mako seconded by Taft to establish Tuesday, May 5th for a special election on .split liquor issue. Taft, Friedges, Mako and Jensen "aye, Sullivan .opposed, motion carried. Letters from Johm Dennehy. and the county traffic .engineer were discussed by the council. Bob Rrigaard will answer the letter re: traffic count. Walter King, Jr's J.P. report was ;reviewed by the_council. (1} _ • # n ~ ~ • 105. Motion by Sullivan seconded. by Taft to approve the wage schedules for the Maintenance, police, liquor store, clerk and building inspector, Schedules to be attached Friedges, Mako, Jensen, Sullivan and.
