RESOLUTION NO. 09-43
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF CITY
STREETS FOR PANORAMA OF PROGRESS EVENTS
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following city streets
shall. be temporarily closed by the Lakeville Street and Police Departments for
certain Panorama of Progress events.
192"d Street from Ipava Avenue to Dodd Boulevard
Date and time: Saturday, 4 July 2009, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.***
Purpose: Fireworks set-up, safety and security.
192"d Street from Ireland Way to Ipava Avenue
Date and time: Saturday, 4 July 2009, 6:00 PM to 11:30 PM.***
Purpose: Fireworks safety and security.
205t" Street from Ipava Avenue to Dodd Boulevard
Date and time: Saturday, 4 July 2009, 9:30 PM to 11:30 PM.***
Purpose: Fireworks safety and security.
Ipava Avenue from CR 50 to 201St Street.
Date and time: Saturday, 4 July 2009, 9:30 PM to 11:30 PM.***
Purpose: Fireworks safety and security.
Upper 208t" Street from Holyoke Avenue to Howland Avenue
Date and time: Thursday, 9 July 2009, 5:00 PM to Midnight
Purpose: Beer, Brats & Bingo.
Holyoke Avenue from 202"d Street to 210t" Street
Date and time: Friday, 10 July 2009, 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
Purpose: .Cruise Night.
210t" Street from Holyoke Avenue to Dodd Boulevard
Date and time: Friday, 10 July 2009, 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Purpose: Cruise Night.
207t" Street from Holyoke Avenue to Howland Avenue
Date and time: Friday, 10 July 2009, at 5:00 PM, and ending
Saturday, 11 July 2009, at 1:00 AM; Saturday, 11 July 2009, at 3:00 PM,
and ending Sunday, 12 July 2009, at 1:00 AM.
Purpose: Cruise Night, Car Show, and Grand Parade.
Holyoke Avenue from 207t" Street to 210t" Street
Date and time: Saturday, 11 July 2009, 9:30 AM to 9:00 PM.
Purpose: Kiddie Parade, Car Show, Grand Parade.
Holyoke Avenue from Heritage Drive to McGuire Junior High, Heritage
Drive from Holyoke Avenue to Iberia Avenue, 210t" Street from Dodd
Boulevard to Hamburg Avenue, and Heron Way.
Date and time:. Saturday, 11 July 2009, 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Purpose: Grand Parade
*~`*In the event inclement weather on 4 July 2009 causes the Fireworks event to
be postponed, road closing locations and times associated with the Fireworks
event are requested for 5 July 2009 as the backup Fireworks date.
