PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES
SEPTEMBER 7,1995
The meeting was called to orderby Chair Luick at 6:00 p.m. in the City Hall
Council Chambers.
Roll .call of members was taken. Present: Holberg, Amborn, Luick , Reib, .Miller.
Absent: Skipton.
Also present: Michael Sobota, Community and Economic Development Director;
Jim Walston, Assistant City Attorney; Daryl Morey, City Planner; Frank Dempsey,
Associate Planner; Tim Hanson, Assistant City Engineer; Mira Holliday, Recording
.Secretary.
The minutes of the August 17, 1995 Planning Commission meeting were approved
as printed.
ITEM 4
A brief discussion was held regarding the final plat of Kilkenny Pond and Hypointe
Crossing 5th Addition. The developers were not present.

A. Consideration of the final plat of Kilkenny Pond.
B. Consideration of the final plat of Hypointe Crossing Sth Addition.
Roll call was taken on the motion. Ayes: Unanimous.
ITEM S
The public hearing to consider the application of Mazen and Barbara Jodeh for a
three year extension to a special home :occupation permit to allow a photography
studio in a single. family residence was opened. The City Attorney attested that all
legalnotices had been duly published and mailed.
Frank Dempsey presented an overview of the proposed three year special home
occupation permit extension, outlining the planning report dated August 30, 1995.
He stated that staff recommends approval of the request.
Mr. and Mrs. Jodeh were present to answer questions of the Commission and
public.
The Commission held a brief discussion.
There was no public comment.
95.122 Motion was made by Holberg, seconded by Miller to close the public hearing.
Roll call was taken on the motion. Ayes: Unanimous.
95.123 Motion was made by Holberg, seconded by Amborn to recommend approval of
the application of Mazen and Barbara Jodeh for a three year extension to a special.

Frank Dempsey and Howard Amborn provided an update on the Planning
Commission regarding the Lakeville Forum: Strategies for Tomorrow.
Staff provided information regarding the appointment of a new member to the
• Commission.
.There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
