HomeMy WebLinkAbout02-22 CITY OF LAKEVILLE PARK AND RECREATION COMMITTEE MEETING MUNICIPAL BUILDING AIRLAKE FEBRUARY 22, 1979 7:30 P.M. Roll call: Present were Storlie, Trued, Rice, Cramer, Smith. Lovelace was absent. Also present were City Administrator Pat McGarvey, Developer Mr. Ross Bassett, and Mr. Bob Nelson. 79 -10 Motion to approve the January 17, 1979 committee minutes by Rice. Seconded by Trued. Motion passed. Mr. Ross Bassett approached the committee on approving land dedication: 1st Addition 1967 Agreement. 2nd Addition already given. 3rd Addition Four new lots are added. 79 -11 Motion was made by Trued that Block 1, Lots 1 thru 4, should pay a cash contribution of $200.00 for each lot for Bassett 3rd Addition. And also that Bassett 1st and 2nd Additions stand as per the 1967 agreement in land dedication. Seconded by Rice. Motion passed. A discussion followed on the Oak Shores 6th Addition. 79 -12 A motion was made by Rice to take a 20 foot easement between lots 9 and 10 in order to have direct access to the existing Oak Shores Park. Also that a cash contribution of $200.00 for each of the 28 lots with 59 dwelling units totaling $11,600.00 be donated and also that the developer donate the existing Outlot C for addition to current Oak Shores Park. Seconded by Storlie. Motion passed. We did not have a Park Directors report as Steve Michaud is away attending a meeting in Denver, Colorado. A proposal was made to bypass any trail action at this meeting until the members have had an opportunity to review the integrated trails plan. Valley Lake Park was brought up by Pastor Trued to study the feasability of using a man made lake to take off some of the burden in the summertime due to the large numbers using the swimming pools. 79 -13 Motion made by Rice to adjourn. Seconded by Trued. Motion passed.
