'resent at 8:00 P M were Nelson, Lamont, and Enright. While waiting for a
quorum, P R Director Steve lli.chaud gave his report. -On Nov. 13th meeting of Metro
Council linkage of proposed "open space land NE of Ritter Farm Park was 'again discussed.
Land located N of Ritter Farm Park, belonging to Bartelds Bros. was suggested as being
more appropriate.
As Council directed, Steve is working on ideas for "fishing bridge" remedy
(1'35)• according to Sept. of Natural Resources, this area is located in District 9
A rinks' skating schedule is being pr-pared by Steve, with the idea in mind;
of providing open skating time every day as well as providing time for hockey.
Steve has met with Cross Country Ski Club and they will be having another
meeting in December.;
Traere is an outdoor activities group at LiS and something may be planned for
Ritter Farm Park, such as snow festival- type of thing..
The backstop at 16?th'St. Park in Valley Park will be turned around and faced
the other way which will provide a better sliding hill.
Card- playing groups will be formed. These groups will probably meet at the
school.
Following Park Director's report, the three applicants for vacancies (two
vacancies) were interviewed privately. The three interested citizens were Mrs. Dee
Christoffers, Mrs. Jenice Lange and Mr. Daniel Bale. the three had each filled out
resumes. (Mrs. M. Erickson arrived as 2 11r. Bale was being interviewed.)
Chairman Len Nelson opened the meeting at 10 P.M. with Nelson, Enright,
Erickson, and Lamont answering roll call. Ballinger and Lovelace were absent.
The following correction is to be made in the Novemoer 13th minutes;
Item #59A' is to be stricken and Item #59B is to be left intact. Lamont and Ericxson
moved and seconded motion to approve Nov. 13th minutes with change in Item #59.
Motion carried.
#60 Lamont made motion that the Lakeville ice- skating warming house°hours,
with attendant available, be established for the 1974 -75 season, as;
5 pm to 10 pm on week nights, 9 am to 10 pm on Saturday, ,1 pm to ,9 pm
on Sunday. Christmas holiday schedule to vary as determined by Park Rec
Director. Nelson seconded. Motion carried.
#61 Enright made motion to recommend to Council that the pleasure skating on
Orchard Lake be at Orchard Lake Park, (173rd Street), and per. -fission be
given to move storage shed from Aronson Park to O.L. rink to utilize it
as a changing house. Nelson seconded. Motion carried.
Corrections were to be made in the Lakeville Skating Facilities Chart for

1974-1975 Season as; Oak Shores Rink is located on Co. Ra 46, and there is not to be
a warming house at Terrace Park, per citizens' request.
L. Nelson told of proposed Lakeville quarterly newsletter.
Steve's "Policy Draft'" is filed with these minutes,
#62 Lamont made motion to cancel the second meeting in December this year.
Enright seconded. Motion carried.
#t63a Of the three applicants to fill the two vacancies on 'P R Committee,
all three have been heard. iecommendation to Council to fill the vacancies;
Erickson: "recommend Dee Christoffers. Lamont seconded. Motion carried.
#63b Enright; "recommend Jenice Largeto fill second vacancy." Lamont seconded.
Motion carried.
Nelson moved to adjourn the meeting. Lamont seconded. Motion.carried.
