At the 10/28/70 P R meeting we felt that other possibilities concerning the lights
at Valley Park be explored.
Mr. Hanson of the Rosemount School District was contacted concerning the possibility
of getting the lights from Rosemount. We were informed that the scholl district
did nothave any old lights from any of their athletic fields.
An ad was placed in the Dakota County paper and signs posted about Valley Park
requesting an electrician to donate or volunteer his time to do the electrical
work on the light project. Not one reply was received. Nor were personal inqueries
to any avail.

report that Central Telephone Company would donate 25ft poles. 1
