Absent: Jones, Nordseth
Meeting called to order 8:00 P.M.
Mr. Ray Anderson, Coach- Supervisor came before the commission with
some problems and suggestions, copy of which are attaches. These
were discussed with ideas of what could possibly be done to remedy
some of the problems. The commission requested that Mr Anderson
Return to the commission with some rules and regulations as to what
equipment should be used, ids conduct, scheduling and what ever also
he felt mould necessary for the safety in the hockey program. p
The following recomendations to be made to the Council: I
Motion by Emond seconded by Setten A full time employee shoid bs
hired for park and recreation. Duties to include programing
maintenance, and supervision. This would include the necessary
year around work with all phases of recreational facilities,

by council be directed to withhold payment on the playground equipment until
it has been checked for all parts.
Motion by Emond Seconded by Lambert to accept 10% land on the corner of
207th Street and RR trgoks Fred Bentson Addition.
Reeomended that the ball diamond at Valley Park be reseeded.
We recomend that the council allocate $1,000 for the building of a
hockey rink at Valley Park.
Vince Setten is taking over the duties of secretary to the Parks Recreation
Commission.
We recomend' that our budget figures for the coming year be established at
$25,000 for land aoqusition.and $25 for current expenses•
The Parks and recreation commission would like to know what bills are coming
,in for payment and be able to approve or dissapprove__ their payments
