by chairman Lambert.
Present: Freid Emond, Jones, Ne'llson, Setten, "L'aft, an,9 Lamb rt.
1. Th Park Recreation recomends that the village council authorize the purchase
of two electric space heaters. One to be placed in the warming house in back
of the Village hall. The other to be placed An the warming I-louse at Valley
Park.
2. T is the recomendatior for the c ou n cil -to accept the lowest bid for lights
at the Valley Park Hockey Rink as of January 2, 1971. (Central Telephone is
donating 25ft Doles to be "used in this Project.
The original quotes received and. given to the council on October 28, 1970
included 45ft Poles and were as follows:

Anderson, Lake'villc H ockey Coach asked the commission if they had any

of getting the lights from IRosemount. 4e were informed that the scholl district
did nothave, ary old lights from any of thei• athletic fields.
An ad was olaced in the Dakota County Da r)er and S4

requesting an electrician to donate or volunteer his time to do the electiical
work on the light proJect. Not cne reply was received. Nor were personal inqueries
to any avail.
Mr. Setten Contacted Mr Pelach of i:,!' Central Telephone Company and was happy to
report that Central Telephone Compar•y would donate 25ft poles.
Four electrical Contractors were asked to submit bids on the following specifications:
1-0 1,500 4att Qi)ar Lights, 1.00 Arap Service, and wiring.

We received bids from Corrigan Electric, Valley Electric, and Lakeville Electric.
Snyder Electric did. not send. in a bid.
