Lambert Chairman Parks and Recreation Commission LAKEVILLE PARKS and RECREATION COMMISSION Lakeville, Minnesota To: Lakeville Village Council Re: Park Area Orchard Lake It is the recomendation of the Parks and Recreation Commission that the park area on Orchard Lake be opened for overnight camping. Camping; would be limited to one night only and a charge for the use 1, of the camp -site would })e $1.50. A permit would be issued for this. The permits could be obtained from the police department or the care- taker. The police do tout this arLa and could possibly arrange to check the campers and sell permits. We don feel that this should widely broadcast.since there are limited facilities. This should be obtainable at the service stations in the area'to take care of anyone who is passing through and is looking for a place to camp for the evr The park should be posted to the effedt that permits are required 16or overnight camping. Respectfully submitted, Herbert K. Lambert, Commissioner
