Present: Lambert, Taft, Friedges, Nelson, Esond, Jones, Rosel.
Meeting was called to order by Mr. Lambert, chairman at 7 :35 PM.
The minutes were read and approved.
A letter from Valley Park Community was receved and read by
Mr. Lambert. Thay were req,esting that we get them the materials
need for hockey goals. The materials will be delevered to Mr.
Murgic, 7200 166 TH. Ct. W. as he said that he would meld the
goals for them. A letter will be sent to Mr. Clarkson, preaAdsnt
Valley Park Conn. Club. In regardes to the rinks. If Na4ley Park
wants the Village to build then the hockey rink thay will have to
send to the P &i.. Comm. a letter in the fall a list of names, of
son that will act as supervisors. With out this list, there will
be no rink!
A copy of Policy, Goals, Standards, from Midwest Plaimers eras
given to all menbers of the Comm.. With reference to index number
3.3530 of the comprehensive plan for the Village of Lakeville.
At this time Mr. Richard Pappenfus and Mr. Thomas Dunbar from
Midwest Planners appeared to explainib #s roll that thaycould
play in developing a overall plan and ho* it could be fi,naniced.
The information that we receved will be very helpfull in our
planing of the parks dsr the Village.
Mr. Dunbar of Midwest Plaiaers, is going to work up a cost figure
o develop a plan for the park in Valley Park.
Mr. Jensen, M ayor meet with us ana explained what our duties
are to be. They are in short, t) develop and purchase park land.
Meeting adjourned 10:30 PM.
