HomeMy WebLinkAbout0739 -CITY OF LAKEVILLE DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA ORDINANCE NO.: 739 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 11 (ZONING ORDINANCE) OF THE LAKEVILLE CITY CODE. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEVILLE ORDAINS: Section 1. Section 11-17-11.A.2 of the Lakeville. City Code is hereby amended. in its entirety to read as follows: 2. Terraces, steps, decks, stoops or similar structures: a. For Lots of Record or Preliminary Platted Lots established prior to March 17, 2003: Except as may be limited within Environmental Protection Districts, terraces, steps, decks, stoops or similar structures constructed to the fieight of the ground floor of the principal structure may extend up to five feet (5'} of a side yard lot line or ten feet (10') of a -rear yard lot line, but not more than five feet (5') into a required front yard or side yard adjacent to a public right-of-way. b. For Lots of Record or Preliminary Platted Lots established after March 17, 2003: Except as maybe limited within Environmental Protection Districts, terraces, steps, decks, stoops or similar structures may extend to within five feet (5') of side yard and ten.- feet (10') of rear yard lot lines, but not more than five feet (5') into a required front yard or side yard adjacent to a public right-of-way ..provided that the height of the structure is not more than thirty inches (30") above the grade within the setback area. Section 2. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage and publication according to law.
