Mr. Erickson recommended the Planning Commission table this item to allow staff time to investigate further the application of the 70 percent rule to the proposal, and, if necessary, schedule the matter back at a later Planning Commission meeting. The Planning Commission discussed tree preservation, the possibility of the area remainm~ R-2 if the 70 percent rule applies, and the possibility of the houses facing Hollins Avenue.
