AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 3, CHAPTER 13 OF THE LAKEVILLE CITY
CODE CONCERNING THE LICENSING OF PEDDLERS, SOLICITORS AND
TRANSIENT MERCHANTS
THE CITY COUNCII.OF THE CITY QF LAKEVILLE, MINNESOTA ORDAINS:,
SECTION 1. Title 3, Chapter 13, Section 3-13-2(C) of the Lakeville City Code is amended
to read:
C. - City License Application: Application for a license to conduct business as a peddler
or transient merchant shall be made at least fourteen (14) regular business days
before the applicant desires to begin conducting. business within city limits.
Application for a license shall be made on a farm provided by the police department.
All applications shall be signed by the applicant. Any fraud, rr{srepresentation, or
false statement on the application shall constitute a violation of this. Chapter. All
applications shall include the following information:
SECTION. 2. Title 3, Chapter 13, .Section 3-13-2(0)(12) of the Lakeville -City Code is
amended to read:
12. A statement as to whether or not the. applicant has been convicted within .the last five
(5) years of any felony, gross misdemeanor or misdemeanor, for violation. of any
state.. or federal statute or any local ordinance, other than traffic offenses;
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage and
publication according to law.
ADOPTED this 1st day of December , 2003, by the City Council of the City of
Lakevihe, Minnesota.
