RESOLUTION NO. 06-10
RESOLUTION GRANTING APPROVAL
SUBMITTAL OF REGIONAL TRAIL GRANT APPLICATION FOR
SOUTH CREEK GREENWAY
WHEREAS, the City of Lakeville shall act as a legal sponsor for the project
contained in the application to be submitted on or before March 31, 2006; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lakeville has the legal authority to apply for financial
assistance and the institutional, managerial, and financial capability to ensure adequate
acquisition, maintenance and protection of the proposed project; and
WHEREAS, upon approval of its application by the State, the City of Lakeville
may enter into an agreement with the State of Minnesota for the above referenced
project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Gerald S. Michaud, Parks and
Recreation Director, is hereby authorized to apply to the Minnesota Department of
Natural Resources for funding of the above referenced project on behalf of the City of
Lakeville.
