AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 7, CHAPTERS 2 AND 12 OF THE LAKEVILLE CITY CODE CONCERNING WATER SURFACE MANAGEMENT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEVILLE, MINNESOTA ORDAINS: SECTION 4. Section 7-2-3, subparagraphs (b), (c), and (d) of the Lakeville City Code are amended to read: B. Speed Zone:. Themaximum speed limit in a speed zone shall be forty (40) miles -per hour except that any watercraft within two fiundred feet (200') of .anchored fishermen, trolling fishermen, nonpowered watercraft, buoys, docks, or swimmers shall travel at a slow minimum wake speed. C. Traffic Patterns: All watercraft, whether or not pulling .water skiers, shall. travel in acounter-clockwise direction of the "first Lake" as indicated on Lake Marion surface map, except that any watercraft launching or landing a person on skis, aquaplane, or similar device may do so by the most direct. route to open water. D. Time Restrictions: From sunset until sunrise, watercraft shall not tow a person on water skis, aquaplane, or similar devices. SECTION 2. Section 7-12-7, subparagraphs (a), (b), and (c) of the Lakeville City Code are amended to read: A. Except in a no-wake zone, the maximumspeed limit for. watercraft is forty (40) miles per hour from sunrise to sunset. B. Except in a no-wake zone,. the maximum speed limit for watercraft from sunset to sunrise shall be fifteen (15) miles per hour. C. Watercraft, whether or not pulling water skiers, shall travel in a general counter-clockwise direction on Saturday and Sunday and legal holidays from Memorial Day .weekend through Labor Day, except that any watercraft launching or landing a person on skis or similar device .may do so by the most direct route to open water. SECTION 3.
