RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT OF
WOODHILL AND A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT
. TO CHANGE THE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF PROPERTY FROM
MEDIUM/HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO LOW/MEDIUM DENSITY
RESIDENTIAL
WHEREAS, on March 17, 2005, the Lakeville .Planning Commission met to consider
the application of the City of Lakeville for a Comprehensive Plan amendment to change
the land use designation of property from Medium/High Density Residential to
Low/Medium Density Residential to allow the construction of 62 twin home units. The
Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on the proposed Comprehensive Plan
amendment preceded by published and mailed notice; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the proposed Comprehensive Plan
amendment.
WHEREAS, the owner of the plat described as Woodhill has requested final plat
approval; and
WHEREAS, the final plat was reviewed by the Planning Commission and the
Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources Committee; and
WHEREAS, the final plat is acceptable to the City.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Lakeville City Council:
1. The Comprehensive. Plan amendment will not have a substantial impact on
or contain a substantial departure from Metropolitan System Plans.
2. The Comprehensive Plan amendment is hereby approved.
3. The final plat of Woodhill is hereby approved subject to the developer's
execution of .the development contract and security requirements.
4. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to sign the development
contract and the final plat mylars.
5. The City Clerk is directed to file a certified copy of this resolution with the
Dakota County Recorder.
