RESOLUTION REVISING THE MIS POLICY
OF THE LAKEVILLE EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK
WHEREAS, the City Council has, from time to time, established by resolution
the conditions and employment benefits for employees of the City of Lakeville;
.WHEREAS, the City Council believes it to be appropriate to address electronic
communications between council members and staff to ensure compliance with the Open
Meeting Law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council believes it to be appropriate to address electronic
communications between council member and staff to ensure compliance with the Data
Practices Act;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Ciry of
Lakeville:
• 1. The MIS Policy is hereby revised and adopted for all positions of employment
with the City of Lakeville and shall replace the current policy located on page
37 of the Employee Handbook.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Lakeville,
Minnesota this 4th day of April, 2005.
