CITY OF LAKEVILLE
DAKOTA, COUNTY, MINNESOTA
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 3, CHAPTER 1
OF THE LAKEVILLE CITY CODE
CONCERNING ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEVILLE, MINNESOTA ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. Section 3-1-5-1 of the Lakeville City code is amended to provide as
follows:
3-1-5-1: CONTENTS OF INITIAL APPLICATION:
In addition to the information which may be required by the forms of the commissioner
of public safety, the applicant shall complete the application forms furnished by the City.
SECTION 2. Section 3-1-5-2A of the Lakeville City Code is amended to read:
3-1-5-2: RENEWAL APPLICATIONS:
A. License Period, Expiration: Each renewal license shall be issued for a maximum
period of one year. All licenses expire on June 30 of each year..
SECTION 3. Section 3-1-7-2 of the Lakeville City Code is amended to read:
3-1-7-2: PAYMENT OF FEES:
A. Annual Fees: The license fee for a new license shall be paid in full before the
application for the license is accepted. The annual license fee for the renewal of an
existing license shall be paid prior to the expiration of the existing license. All fees
shall be paid into the general fund of the city. Upon rejection of any application for a
license or upon withdrawal of an application before approval of the issuance by the
council, the license fee shall be refunded to the applicant except where rejection is
for a willful misstatement in the license application.
SECTION 4. Section 3-1-8-7 of the Lakeville City Code is deleted:

SECTION 5. Section 3-1-8-14C(9) of the Lakeville City Code is amended to
read:
9. The licensee shall pay the additional number of Metropolitan Council SAC units as
determined by the Metropolitan Council Environmental Services for the additional
seating according to the type of service to be provided and, notwithstanding any other
provision of the City Code, 50% of the additional City sewer connection charge and
water connection charge based upon the additional seating.
ADOPTED this 18th day of August, 2008, by the City Council of the City of
Lakeville, Minnesota.
